There are a few different ways to set up remote monitoring for your Ampinvt charge controller. One option is to use the Ampinvt Solar View app. The Solar View app is available for both iOS and Android devices. To use the Solar View app, you will need to connect your charge controller to your Wi-Fi network. Once you have connected your charge controller to your Wi-Fi network, you can open the Solar View app and follow the instructions to add your charge controller.
Another option for setting up remote monitoring for your Ampinvt charge controller is to use the Ampinvt Solar Port app. The Solar Port app is available for both iOS and Android devices. To use the Solar Port app, you will need to connect your charge controller to your Bluetooth network. Once you have connected your charge controller to your Bluetooth network, you can open the Solar Port app and follow the instructions to add your charge controller.
1. Connect the Charge Controller
To enable remote monitoring for your Ampinvt charge controller, you’ll need to first connect it to the internet. This can be achieved using either Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable.
Wi-Fi: For wireless connectivity, connect the charge controller to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure that the Wi-Fi signal is strong and stable.
Ethernet: Alternatively, use an Ethernet cable to connect the charge controller directly to your home router or network switch. This provides a wired and secure connection.
2. Install the Monitoring App
Download and install the monitoring app, such as the Ampinvt Solar View or Solar Port app, on your smartphone or tablet. These apps are available for iOS and Android devices.
3. Create an Account
Once installed, open the monitoring app and create an account. This typically involves providing your name, email address, and creating a password.
4. Add the Charge Controller
Open the app and click on the “Add Device” option. Follow the instructions to add your Ampinvt charge controller to your account. This process may require scanning a QR code on the charge controller or entering its serial number.
5. Configure Settings
Once the charge controller is added, you can configure various settings. These include:
Remote Access: Enable remote access to allow you to monitor and control the charge controller from anywhere with an internet connection.
Notifications: Set up notifications to receive alerts and updates on the charge controller’s status or performance.
Data Logging: Configure the app to log data from the charge controller for analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
6. Monitor and Control
With remote monitoring enabled, you can now track the performance of your charge controller. The app will provide real-time data on battery voltage, charging current, solar panel output, and system status. You can also remotely control the charge controller’s settings, such as charging parameters and load management.
